The issues that shape the state of the nation

Electricity supply, education, jobs and land restitution, these are some of the subjects that have featured prominently in President Jacob Zuma's eight State of the Nation
speeches. The graphic below shows the number of words he dedicated to the main topics in each speech. The word count is represented by a dot; the larger the
dot, the more he said on a subject. If the president said 500 or more words, the dot is red, if less than 500 words, the dot is blue.
