Youth Entrepreneurs and COVID-19

Catching up with youth entrepreneurs

June 16, 2020

This Youth Day (16 June 2020), UNDP is in conversation with Thuli Hlongwane, one of 8 entrepreneurs who have recently graduated from the Youth Entrepreneurship Action Hub UNDP programme to help aspiring South African entrepreneurs kickstart their businesses.

Thuli is the founder and Managing Director of Prim-U, an easy-to-use App platform that makes appointment processes effortless and transparent for both customers and stylists. An on demand-booking platform that connects entrepreneurs in the beauty industry with customers anytime, anywhere to offer their professional service.

The hair and beauty sector is among the hardest hit by the lockdown, UNDP caught up with Thuli to see how she is coping during this time.
